the bridal dress contenders…

I bought my wedding dress!  Pause- You’ll have to stay tuned some additional months to see the actual dress I chose (not one of these).  I did, however, want to have my fabulous fashionistas be a part of my special day, so I hope you enjoy the pics of our bridal shopping day.

It was a wonderful and exhausting day, filled with my family and friends, champagne and hugs.  Without further adieu, here they are, some of the bridal dress contenders!

After the bridal dress extravaganza, the fiancĂ© and I went to a nearby park, grilled out and relaxed.  Clearly, the day had worn me out…!

Gorgeous! I love wedding dress shopping! I wish we got to do it more than once in a lifetime. It just makes you feel so special. I really love the all lace one pictured from the back. That one is so gorgeous! Thanks for sharing part of your special day!

Whichever dress you chose, you will be an absolutely stunning bride! As a newlywed, I can say that the wedding planning process was NOT my favorite, but it was so worth it.

Best wishes to you!

How exciting! The dresses are gorgeous; not quite sure how you were able to narrow it down. Looking forward to seeing which one you chose!

You look fabulous in every one of them ... the one with the black embroidery is absolutely divine! Love that you're sleeping on the table in the park ;-)
Enjoy your wedding preparations.

GORGEOUS! I think I spy some Vera Wang White? No regrets, but I would've loved to have tried her line on before buying my dress (came out several months after). Congrats on finding your dress! :-D Can't wait to see it in the future.

I tried on 3 Vera Wangs, but only 1 is pictured here (the one in pink!).

I am so so behind. My work, school and then summer made me slip far far down the hill of blogs to catch up on. CONGRATS....however long ago it was.=) I am still catching up. I love the short old fashioned viel on you. I hope you go with something like that. Have fun through this process of planning your big day, remember to get your hunny involved, even if it is something small have him do it on his own, I mean my husband loved being responsible for not just the rehearsl dinner but his groomsmen gifts, grooms cake and what type of drinks to have..since I pretty much vetoed and picked everything else.=)

Also make sure that on your day, you dance, drink, eat something and not just host. I look forward to posts in the future with details. Thanks for sharing this.
