Over the knee boots

Boots: Roxana.  Jeans: Banana Republic.  Top: Forever XXI.  Jacket: Worthington.  Necklace: Ann Taylor LOFT.  Purse: Jessica Simpson.

I actually had a week off work last week, and while I spent a lot of time in my pajamas (we took a stay-cation), there were a few nights that were spent out on the town with my man.

I’ve been loving over the knee boots for quite some time, but hadn’t found any that fit my legs (seriously – do they think normal women have thighs the size of toothpicks?!?).  I found these boots and they were not only a perfect fit, but had the shape, style, and ruffle detailing that fit me to a tee!

I'm sorry I just don't like this trend. It looks too "Pretty Woman" for me if you know what I mean.

I have not really stepped into the trend of the over the knee boots, being that like you my thighs are normal size not toothpicks and I am almost 5'10 it is like they are not made to go up that high on me or something. So it just does not look right on me. It looks cute on you and I hope you had a good stay cation, my hubs and I did that about a month ago, it was the best.

I unfortunately have thighs (and calves) the size of toothpicks. I can't ever find boots that fit...even after trying to fit the boots over skinny jeans...it's sooo embarrassing! I love boots so it's extremely frustrating. My point is women aren't one size fit all and I dont' understand why boots can't be made smaller than the "standard" size. For what it's worth, I envy your legs and think you are lucky you can find boots to fit. Love these!

OMG-those boots, they look great!

@ Hurricane B I understand, I'm 6'3" and those over the knee styles are just knee highs on me...o well! I still like them though.

Olivia - I LOVE pretty woman - LOL, but never made that particular connection. Maybe that's part of my subconscious draw to the boots... ;)

Anonymous - good point, I always forget that thin legged ladies may have fit issues as well! Maybe someone will start up a boot line w/ small, medium, and large widths..!!

What an incredible, fun, sassy, trendy & modern, going-out Outfit.(Check out my last going-out outfit, by the way. Thanks.) Those boots are to-die-for and I need, I must have a pair of over-the-knee boots in my closet and yours are just fantastic. I must have your boots. Can you be kind enough to tell me the store or website you got them at? How much did they cost cause they sure look lux & expensive. I love the ruffled Jessica Simpson clutch too which matches the ruffle of the boots, perfectly.

Thanks Londyn. Waiting for your reply.
