Jeans @ Work

DSCF3676

Purple Cardigan: Chadwicks

Navy Silk Tie Top: Forever XXI

Jeans: Gap

Boots: Aldo

I’ve been consistently wearing dark wash jeans to work on Fridays of late.  I just think they are so flattering and so professional, so I save my lighter blues for the weekend.  Express curvy tall jeans are the best fit I’ve found thus far for my figure type, but I randomly seem to find other pairs here and there that have been added to my collection as well.  What’s your favorite type / brand of jeans?

Hi Londyn. I'm a new reader to your blog (about a month or so). I find your blog especially inspiring since you're a Cincy girl (I'm about an hour north). I'm SOOO impressed to see you dressing so stylishly in this sometimes style-starved area!!! (Just today we were at Fleet Feet on Kenwood road buying new runners). OH MY GOSH! Have you tried Servetii's bakery right there? (I think I spelled it right, or close).

You asked about jeans. I've found a great dark-denim, professional-esque jean, but you won't believe where it's from...walmart.com?! The norma kamali trouser jean for $15. Sounds REDICULOUS, but it's low waisted, very tight through the lower thigh, knee, flared a bit at the bottom, and long (I'm 5'9). Great w/ heels. Sounds crazy I know, but they're working for me.

Keep posting these great ideas, girl! I am getting fabulous inspiration!

I used to always buy Lucky Brand Easy Riders, but unfortunately they don't make them any more. I have a couple pairs of Express Jeans that I like a lot, but I don't wear jeans all that often.

They look very nice on you! I like the cardi too. Jeans for me come from various sources but the ones I've liked the best from recent years have all come from the Gap.

I'm currently on the search for jeans. I find that no jeans really fit me and it is very frustrating!

Deborah - thanks so much for your comment! I love getting feedback from readers around the area :)

I LOVE Servatti's bakery! There used to be one downtown, but they closed it so I haven't been there forever :(

I've actually gotten some great items from walmart too, but I am suprised that you found such good jeans there simply b/c they are so hard to find ANYWHERE for most women. I might have to check them out!

Fabulous outfit! The layering makes this casual outfit look so professional. Tie neck tops are definately my favorite.

The new Nordstrom Rack in Rookwood has some fab premium denim at great prices! I am tall also
(5'9") and True Religion and Citizens for Humanity both work great for me...you should try them! How's the quality of Chadwick's clothing? I love that cardi.

You look great, as always! I'm 5'8" and I've found Joe's Jeans to fit me best. They're not inexpensive, but hold up well.
