Large Side Tie Booties
Style #:MARCJ21796

(The blue ones, second from left)
They scream winter...and they are cute enough to justify clothes shopping. That's right, clothes to go with the shoes, not shoes to go with the clothes. I would wear them while watching Ugly Betty and maybe slip Devil Wears Prada in. I would sit in awe of the fact that I actually owned a pair of Marc Jacobs. Then I would go shopping and try them on with everything:)

I LUUUUUUUV the Ruffle Back Knee High Boots. I've been trying to figure out why I like the ruffle part (besides the fact that they're ALL THE RAGE and as a young mother of 2 kids I'm ALWAYS wearing the latest fashion trends *dripping with sarcasm*). I think it's because they're SASSY and have attitude. If I could be sassy and have attitude and get away with it, man, that'd be awesome. Hmmm, now that I'm looking at them from a different angle, it kinda looks like a horse's mane being blown by the wind. I guess that's pretty fitting for me, living in FLAT WINDY Ohio, and always being windblown since I never have time to do my hair properly. Lol...

Now that I've written a book, I guess I'll finish by saying I'd wear them to church. I'd need some cute black leggings, and a sophisticated sweater dress. I always feel underdressed at my church for some reason. I wish I knew how to wear fancy clothes without looking like I'm trying to wear fancy clothes! I guess if I was a career woman, I'd have more variety in my wardrobe and I wouldn't have to try so hard in the first place!

I love the Slouch Ankle Ruffle Suede Booties in grey. The classic shape is right on, the almond shaped toe is beyond adorable, and there is no words for the scalloped edge! I could play them down with a nice pair of slacks, or play them up with my favorite creamy pink leather trench coat that hits just below the knee.

I love the red flat boots! They are super cute and would be a great addition to my winter wardore. I see myself wearing them everyday if I could. Maybe showing them off in the supermarket while I'm shopping for tomatoes..., or wearing them on a nightout with some skinny jeans and a pretty top. Red is not my favorite color, but red boots are beautiful!

PS. Avsolutely love your blog!

I love the ruffle slouch to the knee boots. They are classic with just enough of a twist to make them stand out.
I would wear them with everything from dark skinny jeans, leggings, dresses, and skirts. I would probably even use them to replace tights on the not so cold winter days

My favorite is the ruffle side booties. They are simple and classic with a mild twist, the kind of thing I could see myself wearing for years to come.

I'd totally choose the tall shaft rubber boots. The town I live in is about to start their rainy season, as in 3 to 5 months of almost daily rain. I bike or walk every where I go and I need a pair of gorgeous, sassy rain boots to inspire me to get out of bed every morning and to totally impress this college town of girls wearing Target boots.

I NEED the Grey, Front Ankle Tie Booties on Cutout Wedge. I have been waiting to buy grey boots until I saw the perfect pair, the ones that sang to my very soul, and these are the ones. I would wear them to teach in with a dress and tights (I love to wear a heel when I teach for an extra little bit of authority), I would wear them with skinny jeans and a colorful top to dinner with my in-laws (FMIL is super stylish and I have to be careful to not look frumpy next to her), I would wear them to my dissertation defense with a perfectly cut power suit because I would know that no matter how much fierce criticism and how many tough questions I faced, my feet would be over the moon with happiness in them.

The gorgeous navy large side tie booties would make the perfect addition to my wardrobe. First of all, I'd wear them without the, "You spent how much on shoes" glare from my husband because if I were to win, they'd be discounted. Right?

I'd wear them to work to jazz up business casual attire. They would look fabulous with a dress or tights and skirt. I'd also wear them with skinny jeans.

Who can choose? They are all totally cute and seriously hot. I would find some way to wear every pair of them while in Vegas. Maybe I could go to The Wynn, wear a pair of the peep toe pumps and look like a high roller. Drink martinis at the Ghost Bar while wearing the black boots with the ruffle. Watch the volcano erupt at The Mirage in the red flat boots and go to the Neon Graveyard in the croc top toe boots. The possibilities are endless.

Heavy Bow Peep Toe Pumps in deep red! my fiancee just bought me a deep red foley & corinna sling bag and it would look so great with them, i'd dress the outfit up with a black dress and patterned/brightly colored tights, and casual with jeans and an oversized cardigan, i also love how these shoes could modernize and add a funky vibe to a vintage dress, and hello! they would work great with a suit or sheath dress to work!

Scene: Me, sitting at the piano bar in downtown Spokane,WA. My long, and recently highlighted hair is glowing in the dimmed light, the prettiest shades of honey and caramel. I'm wearing my first pair ever of skinny jeans, with the comfiest white scoop neck-T underneath, topped off with my Short and Sweet jacket (in green) from Anthropologie. And on my feet are the most adorable, most comfortable, most stylish pair of Marc Jacobs booties, the Ruffle Side booties to be exact. And as my feet tap along to the music, I feel compelled to try my hand at the piano, even though I've never played. And miraculously the booties give me the power to play a rousing rendition of "I would do anything for love," much to the complete joy of the crowd. And as I finish, and I step off the stage, I silently thank my new Marc Jacobs booties, and use my newfound confidence to go buy the hot guy sitting at the bar a drink! :)

How to pick just one!?
I have trouble making these kinds of decisions, but I'd have to go with the red flat boots. I'm trying really hard to break out of my comfort zone and if you'll permit a little butt-kissing, you're one of the people who've inspired me to do so. I have brown & black boots (BOR-RING) so the red ones would be a daring move on my part and would also make me feel very festive for this fun-to-dress-up holiday time of year. I'd wear them for everything from holiday shopping with jeans & my black pea coat to church to all the family dinners that are upcoming. And I would feel like a total badass every time!

It's so hard to pick but I'm thinking these peeptoes:

I don't normally dig heavily branded clothing and shoes, but actually think that MJ tab on the end of the bow makes these pumps delightfully badass. I'd pair them with some black fishnets, a gray pencil skirt, white button-down, and maroon velvet blazer for a sexy-secretary-meets-vampire look. Sure, I'll take a memo ... just need to grab a bite to eat first. ;)

I am loving the Front Tie Platform Booties on Cutout Wedge in black. These booties are great because while they are on trend for the season, they will never go out of style. I would pair these booties with skinny jeans (or jean leggings) and a tunic sweater. The booties would also look great with tights and a short skirt! Oooh they are so fabulous, and versatile!

Oh, Marc Jacobs. He was one of the first fashion designers I became enamored with in high school and it has not worn off yet.

For example, I'd pick the Large Side Tie Booties in navy blue. I love the detail with the big, eye-catching bow. Plus, why stick with a boring color like black or brown when you can rock blue?!

Speaking of rock...My husband's a musician so I'm always accompanying him at concerts. I'd definitely wear these boots with a cute floral thrift-store dress, maybe a cozy cashmere scarf. They add instant glamour to any outfit. Marc Jacobs hasn't let me down yet!

Good lordy this is a good giveaway - Marc has so many absolutely fantastic shoes, but my heart is totally melting for the Ruffle Back Knee High Boots. You could dress this up to be sweet, sexy, casual and more.

Wear with skinnies and a fun top, toss on with a purple sweater dress, finish off a LDB - so many options!

So, like, I have this military denim jacket, and, like, I’d love to wear it with my fave Shopbop Marc J. shoes, the burgandy Heavy Bow Peep Toe Pumps. I’d pair it for a daytime autumn look with a sweater dress, a wristlet purse, and my quirky, girly attitude. And it goes a little something like this...

LOVE the Miss Marc Ballet flats in blue - they're whimsical and fun, and I'm a HUGE Marc Jacobs fan! I think they'd be great on weekends with dark skinny jeans, and white v-neck tee and a blazer, and fun jewelry!

They are all so beautiful but if I were to choose only pair, it would probably be Front Tie Platform Booties on Cutout Wedge. I love that they have a heel but look comfortable - love wedges! I imagine wearing them all winter long with practically everything I have!

Thanks for the giveaway!
