Changing My Mind…

I recently left a comment on Kasmira’s blog stating that you should never have to match!  Today, I planned to wear this blue floral top with a coral dress, but saw my blue ruffle dress in the closet and couldn’t resist putting the 2 matching blues together.

I guess I’ll have to take back my earlier comment……LOL!

Blue Ruffle Dress: Banana Republic.  Floral Cardigan: Forever 21.  Purse: Vintage.  Shoes: Fioni.

I am off to New York City tomorrow – but will be back early next week with hopefully lots of pictures to share.  Have a lovely weekend!

I love that you are wearing that sweater with the matching dress. I have that cardigan in mustard yellow and I saw that Kasmira wore it in red the other day! Yay same sweaters!

This is lovely! I heart every single thing about it, and I think that the shoes keep it from being too matchy.

It looks great! I love that shade of blue. And I don't know that your original comment necessarily needs to be withdrawn-you made the choice to match :)

Hehe - No dear you don't HAVE to match, but if it looks THIS great, you should WANT to match :-)

Beautiful color!

I love that outfit. What is the sizing of that cardi like?

Have a great trip!

I was going to tell you that I have the same cardi, with red instead of blue roses, but fromsneakerstostilletos beat me to it.

I agree w/all of the above...match or don't match. What looks good looks good, regardless.

That lovely shade of blue is a tad unusual (to me), so matching it doesn't look TOO contrived. Does that make sense?

Have fun in NYC. Hope you get to do some shopping!

I love that purse! So cute! I noticed that you are a shoe person...you have an awesome & enviable collection! Are you also a purse person? Do you have a purse collection also?? I'd love to see you do a special post on purses!

Good match and I love the purse, too!

there is no need to go out of the way just not to match. Whatever is pleasing to the eyes and your body is what counts! You look pretty!

I love that combination, it is goregous! Whilst you should never HAVE to match, it is sometimes good to do it just for fun!

Lovely as always!

Another real nice Banana Republic dress that I love. Pretty cardi too and wow it matches perfectly. O love the Mary Jane Peep-Toe Shoes too and particularly love your "Doctor" Bag. =)
