Secret Significance

Dress: BCBG. Purple Cropped Cardi: Chadwicks. Shoes: Sam & Libby.

I always think it's fun to incorporate little details into my wardrobe that may have a special meaning that only I know about. Well, today I'm sharing my "secret significance" in this outfit. -- These shoes remind me of ballroom dancing - and make me feel like I'm in an old Grace Kelly era movie.

Everyone knows I'm a shoe loving gal. I'm also a dance loving gal. I've never really done any of the formal dancing like ballroom and have no idea whether I'd be good or not, but somehow these shoes make me feel like I already am.

I love these shoes...almost bought them myself at DSW...but for me at least, I didn't feel they are appropriate for work, ya know?

Well first comment on this blog ... to congratulate you especially for those shoes. They are very cute and elegant.
I am very interested to see how american girl in town can wear and it is always fun and good to get new ideas although some of the brands you are giving us are not known here in France. And I should say that I do like the way you're wearing your clothes and your styles.
But I also noticed that most american women (well US at least) are very fond of very pointy pumps. True they look great but one wonder how to wear them all day long walking and standing... unless women keep some sneakers on and change shoes at the last moment while sat in the office. We do not do that. But thank you anyway because you gave me more than once the idea to go to US in order to buy some of your outfits... Not very easy to do !
