A Little Sugar

Print Tank: Old Navy. Blue Sweater: Forever XXI. Black Skinny Jeans: Lucky Brand Jeans. Patent Fuchsia Pumps: Guess.

I felt very sweet in this outfit. Kind of hard to tell in the above picture, but the sweater has bows on the pockets and my necklace is a bow pendant as well (see below!). Of course, some pink patent shoes just top the cake!

Hi! First I'd like to say that I love your outfits. You've given me tons of great ideas, and I've already tried new things with my clothes as a result.

I'd like to ask a question regarding belts, but be forewarned, it will seem silly.

I am pretty new to wearing the big belts around the ribcage. My ribcage is pretty small, and when I buy belts I always buy a small, yet they still seem to slip during the day as I where them.

I ask because your belts always look wonderful. Do you ever find your belts shifting a bit? I feel like I am spending too much time during the day trying to yank them back up. If you have any tips, that would be great, too.

Thanks!

I'd try seeing if you can get extra-small belts. If the belt doesn't fit snugly enough, you will inevitably have to keep tugging it back into place.

I find a lot of extra small belts while thrifting, so you may want to try that as an search option.

My last thought is to try wearing your looser belts over sweaters or blazers to make a better fit.

Hope this helps!
