Patience is a Virtue

White spring jacket: Urban Behavior. Silk Pattern Shirt: Michael Kors. Jeans: Tommy Hilfiger. Shoes: Alfani.

I fell in love with this Michael Kors shirt about a month ago, but it was higher priced than I was willing to pay. Throughout the month, I continued to pine after it, so when I saw it on sale last week I had to snatch it up! Sometimes it pays to be patient.

Very cool top. I love michael kors! I have also been "pining" after a particular dress...I'm hoping it'll go on sale soon!

Great shirt! Do you find it annoying at all when your top layer is more fitted than your bottom layer?

No I don't mind that.

I think it's a nice balance to have either the top or bottom more fitted instead of both top and bottom being flowy or fitted.

Since I am smaller on top I tend to have my tops more fitted than my bottoms so I am used to it. This time I just switched it around with a flowy top instead!

Hey Londyn,

Long time no comment, but you look absolutely gorgeous. : ) L

Ah thanks :)

Actually I meant the two shirt layers- it looks like your jacket is more fitted than the shirt you are wearing underneath. I'm such a fidget with clothing I think that would drive me insane. I really like both looks though!

The top does have some punch to it - and it looks great on you!

I am so sure you would be great in any kind of shoes and also zipper up ones!

It´s great mix and match once in a while ;)

Kisses and hugs!
Thanks for your care,
Kira

Love your blog, been following it for a while!

Would this top look good with a belt? Or is it too short? I've been meaning to get a top like this.....

Jess -

Oh, duh - I get it :)
No, for whatever reason, that doesn't bother me!

Thanks for the comment - Yes, I think it may look good with a belt. Maybe I will try that next time!

I always try to see if it goes on sale. Over here on the base if I see something I like though I have to get it. We get limited stock. So that is the downside to me always wanting a deal...they all disappear. I love the top and I think it would look great with a belt as well. But then you would need a skirt or a pair of slacks instead of pants. I love the shades in the first photo. Brand?
