Flowery Skirt

Brown Silk Wrap: Sunny Leigh. Flowy Flower Skirt: New York & Company. Heels: ana bonilla.

Growing up, I attended a very conservative Christian school where we were required to wear skirts below the knee. Can you believe this is a skirt that I still have from that time (bought it maybe in 10th grade?)!?!

That is such a pretty outfit. I love brown.

I'm impressed your skirt still fits from 10th grade! A departure from your usual style, but it's very spring/summery.

Like Shoegal, I am impressed you even fit into that skirt. LOL

I don't like skirts that long on myself, it makes me look too stumpy.

But it looks nice on you, esp with heels.

But that top is to DIE FOR!

I really like this outfit. I love chocolate brown anyway and is the other color pink? Very cute!

(I'm jealous! I couldn't fit into anything from 10th grade except maybe the

I have to confess, I usually love the outfits you choose, but this one is not my favorite. I think the skirt makes you look too mature for your age. Top is pretty though :)

Hi Londyn,

Will you post snapshots of your closet if you have time that is? Like maybe a snap of your blouses, pants, skirts, etc.

A little background on me and the reason I ask is because I am trying to build my wardrobe. I did not shop at all for 2 years straight (I know that's bad for me) because I was making sure I had enough money to take care of me and my daughter. Those were stressful times indeed and so I don't have many staple items at all and am just now trying to build a decent shoe collection.

A friend of mine does not believe me when I tell her that I don't have anything to wear for a function because that's what women usually say...LOL...even though they do have something but would instead like something new.

So in other words, I need help and love you you put your outfits together. I'll send you snapshots of my closet which won't take you much time to look through...LOL...but anyway in case I've missed that post if you've already done it, it would be really great of you to do this and make suggestions. I am 30 and live in the deep south if that helps at all with clothing suggestions. Thank you!

This looks very salsa-ish with all the ruffles which really suit you. I really like it!

Great outfit! It will also be nice if you paired it with a pink blouse to match the pink prints. :)

Wow, that's great that you can still work a high school piece into your wardrobe and make it look great. I like the combination of ruffles on top and a full skirt on bottom.
