Tinkerbell Dreams

My mom and I went out to see the Cincinnati Ballet "Peter Pan". It was wonderful! Very lively and colorful; wonderful music! We had a great time.

I bought this dress (from Cache) for the cruise I went on back in September, but never ended up wearing it, so I was very excited to finally have an event to wear it to. People just never get dressed up now days! Why is that? I love to get dressy...!

Finally back at home - a bit exhausted after a lovely evening. I'm sure I'll have lovely dreams of fairies, and pirates, and a big funny crocodile!

Clutch: Old Navy. Shoes: BCBG.

Hi Londyn!

I"m new on your blog. I'm an American-gone Finnish lady now living in Paris - for the past seven years soon. I looove fashion and art. Your style seems very pleasing to me - I also appreciate elegance and lady-likeness. Your pink dress is a true eye-catcher, a pearl.

I'll happily be a regular visitor;)

People should get dressed up more often. It's so much fun.

You look amazing, Londyn! The colour is awesome on you.

What is up with people not getting dressed up for special occasions? I love putting on something glamourous.

love the dress (colour, material, cut) and how it accentuates your curves :) i have my pear-child-bearing-hips, any figure hugging dress would be a disaster!

your mum and you look great together too!

Wow, what a hot dress! I also lament the fact that people don't dress up anymore. I am trying to get myself to a place where I feel okay about wearing whatever the heck I want and not caring what people think, but there is something to be said for peer approval.

BTW, I am very excited that I was just able to buy a pair of wine/dark fuchsia colored ankle boots for TEN DOLLARS at JCPenney. How fun! :)

I am of the same belief as Mae West..
"It is better to be looked over than overlooked!"
And...I would rather feel awesome, and be overdressed anyday!
You look STUNNING!!

WOW YOU LOOK SO SEXY & SO BEAUTIFUL. Love this dress color and style on you. It is between a lilac & a hot pink. =) You look so much like your mom, young lady. I like the shoes but I really love the silver purse. So dressy & cute, it could be smth. expensive from Cache rather than from Old Navy. =)
