Option A or Option B - ?

Black and White Print Dress: White House Black Market. Blue Dress: Tahari. Black and White Embroidered Purse: Aldo.

I intended to wear my black and white print dress and fun faux fur wrap today, but the dress was just a bit too short for my comfort level at work. I decided to save the shorter dress for a night out, and changed into this pretty blue Tahari dress instead. Do you think I made the right choice?

Both the dresses are lovely, but I think you made the right choice. The blue dress is more of a "work dress", while that black and white number will be stunning for a night out!

Good choice -- I love the blue dress! If I find myself second guessing work appropriateness, I figure it's best to change. Both outfits look great on you though.

You definitely made the right decision - the blue dress is perfect for the office!

As for the b/w dress, I'd wear it by itself, with thigh high boots and go out clubbing. Sexy!

they both look great...but you picked the right one for work

Perfect choice!
The blue dress make you look long and lean (not that you need a ounce of help in that department), and the color is fabulous on you!

I didnt think the first dress was too short until you mentioned it. However, the second dress is a great work dress and you wear it well. Good decision on your part!

Both look good! What if you had a skirt on underneath the first dress to add some length?

I'm missing your trademark "pop of color," too!

You made the right choice because the factor number one is to feel comfortable in what you wear - otherwise you'll come across as someone not at ease and lacking confidence. The b&w outfit is very lovely - wear it later to something you feel more suitable. I love the elegance that shines through your choice of clothes. Have a great weekend!

What if you wore a slightly longer skirt under the black and white dress?? I did that, from inspiration from
Audi and it worked out well for my job!
But, as usual, you looked great! both dresses ROCK!

Yes...I luv the b/w dress too but it looks a little to short and flirty for work. Luv the bright blue with the black accents...so fun! ~Kendra~

I prefer the blue dress to the black one for work, but the black one looks fantastic for a night on the town

Yes a good change, the first look is a little more fun than business. :_)

The shortness of the black & white dress combined with the high-tied top make it a little too sexy for work. But I bet the dress would work with knee high boots and a jacket over it for work.

That blue dress is killer! You look great in it.

Why always patterned tights?

Option B Hands-down. Love this retro-looking 50's dress. Great color AND style. I think option one would be better without the shrug, perhaps with a long sweater, a wrap sweater, or a blazer.
