Seminar Work Wear

Black Layered Shirt: New York & Co. Grey Pin Stripe Pencil Skirt: Studio Y. Black Boots: George.

All day training seminar for work today. I am never sure how people will dress to these things, so I just went with typical work wear, only a bit more corporate. It turned out to be a good choice for the day and I was comfy as well. Back to my regular work routine tomorrow.

Fantastic boots! And a very 80s ensemble altogether. Great to have you back properly now.

I'm the same way - I try to dress a bit more conservative for seminars - especially if they are outside my company (so I'm representing my company).

I think it is always better to be overdressed then under dressed so good call. Very cute outfit.

Cute outfit but no offense...those boots are hardly corporate looking. With this outfit, I would have suggested a less slouchy boot that comes up higher on the leg or a nice high heeled pump.

Anon - yep, either of those options would've worked well too, however since it was only my everyday work people and we do not work in a snooty-suit culture, I figured I was okay.

In the end, half the people were in basic business casual attire, but half were in jeans! I guess my slouchy boots were a-okay!
