Fishnets!

Too risque for work? Not with my conservative layered knit tops! It is getting more and more chilly outside, but I refuse to give up my skirts, so today I threw on some fishnets to shield a little bit of the cold and layered some more higher coverage shirts to keep it work appropriate. A perfect match!

A bold move. I made it (the bold move) about 8 months ago and have regretted it ever since. I do not wish my fate on you, even though you are a virtual stranger. The day after I wore them some of my co-workers declared that every Thursday (for I wore them on a Thursday) would now be "Fishnet Thursday". Now, 8 months later, I still hear about them or get the request weekly. Never again. I hope you fared much better than I. (Please note that the rest of my outfit was the height of professional, so one can't say that I had gone over the line by wearing the fishnets.)

LOL I took a picture just like yours last year (the one with your legs crossed) when I wore my fishnets to work.

FN never go out of style ya know.

one way to tone down fishnets for work, is too put a pair of tights on underneath the fishnets. It sounds bulky, but it really is not too bad and it looks very cool.

j. elle, i feel you! the exact same misfortune happened to me at work last year. like you, the rest of the outfit was extremely conservative, professional and demure. apparently coworkeers just cannot handle the fishnets... I will never again wear black fishnets to work!
(have managed to get away with flesh-toned fishnets at work though, bc it looks like I have pantyhose on)

lisalisa, thanks for the recommend...nude fishnets. I will have to check those out.

This outfit is both sharp and sexy. I love the fishnets with that skirt & those slingback pumps. This is one of your best skirts, I've told you. =)
